a large and rare vintage sterling silver Georg Jensen bottle coaster, design #396 by Georg Jensen from the 1920s. This design is closely related to the Grapes bottle coaster #229 and the Grapes jardiniere #296, the scalloped pattern on the side is the same.
Dimensions: Measures 1 1/4″ in height and 5 3/8″ external diameter (3cm, 14cm). Weighs 8.7oz (247g).
