Vintage Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Acorn Belt Buckle #67

A vintage Georg Jensen sterling silver belt buckle, design #67, featuring a beautifully sculpted composition of overlapping leaves and acorns.

The deeply worked front panel creates a rich three dimensional surface, with polished leaves surrounding finely detailed acorns. The combination of naturalistic forms and strong sculptural relief is characteristic of Georg Jensen’s interpretation of Scandinavian Art Nouveau, where motifs from nature were transformed into functional works of silver.

The reverse reveals the substantial sterling silver construction and original buckle mechanism. A particularly attractive vintage Georg Jensen accessory and an excellent example of the silversmithy’s craftsmanship during the prewar period.
