Vintage Georg Jensen “Princess” Compote 252 by Johan Rohde

A sterling silver Georg Jensen compote, design #252 by Johan Rohde from 1917 and known as the “Princess” bowl. This magnificent piece features a hammered pedestal base, adorned with a delightful combination of floral and scrollwork. At its heart, you’ll find an oxidized floral centerpiece, all encircled by a hand-hammered, sizeable sculptural bowl. Classic Johan Rohde design with openwork stem decorated with leaves, berries and scrolls.

  • Dimensions: Measures 9″ in height, the bowl has a 10″ diameter (23cm, 25.6cm).
  • Hallmarks: Vintage Georg Jensen hallmarks from 1945-1977
  • Weight: 1490 grams (52,55 oz.)
