Vintage Georg Jensen Iron & Silver Pendant 5014 Harald Nielsen

This is an iron Georg Jensen pendant with applied sterling silver decoration with bird and floral motif, design #5014 by Harald Nielsen.

This iron piece is from the war years and just after when silver was scarce due to the Allied blockade. Georg Jensen had to find creative new ways to use as little silver as possible while maintaining the same high standards of design and quality.

Measures 1 5/8″ (4.1cm) in diameter, pendant only, no chain included.

Hallmarked “HN GEORG JENSEN 5014”, produced circa early 1940s – 1946.

All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
