Vintage Georg Jensen Iron & Silver Pendant 5003 Arno Malinowski

This is an iron Georg Jensen pendant with applied sterling silver and gold fish and flora motif under a crescent moon, design #5003 by Arno Malinowski from circa 1944.

This iron piece is from the war years and just after when silver and gold were scarce due to the Allied blockade. Georg Jensen had to find innovative new ways to use as little precious metal as possible while maintaining the same high standards of design and quality.

Measures 2″ x 1″ (5cm x 2.5cm), pendant only, no chain included.

Hallmarked “AM GEORG JENSEN 5003”, produced circa early 1940s – 1946.
