An early impressive Mid-Century Georg Jensen sterling silver centerpiece bowl, design #980A by Henning Koppel from 1948. A large sculptural bowl that rests an a three pointed base which resembles design #956 candelabra. This is the first of several large Hollowware pieces pieces Koppel designed from 1948-1958. This is also the first large piece Koppel designed on his return from Sweden where Koppel resided during WW2.
