Georg Jensen Cypress Sterling Silverware Set For 12

A Georg Jensen Cypress silverware service includes twelve settings of seven pieces, plus a selection of servers. Cypress, design #99 by Norwegian designer Tias Eckhoff, was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Georg Jensen Silversmithy in 1954. Eckhoff, awarded the prestigious Lunning Prize in 1953 at the age of 27, was trained as a ceramicist and served as artistic director of Porsgrunds Porcelain Factory in Norway.

Set includes:

  • 12 Dinner Forks – 7½” (19 cm)
  • 12 Dinner Knives – 8¾” (22.3 cm) with stainless steel blades
  • 12 Dessert/Soup Spoons – 7″ (17.8 cm)
  • 12 Luncheon/Salad Forks – 6¾” (17.2 cm)
  • 12 Pastry Forks – 5⅞” (15 cm)
  • 12 Fruit Knives – 6¾” (17 cm)
  • 12 Coffee Spoons – 4⅜” (11.2 cm)

Servers:

  • 2 Serving Spoons – 8½” (21.5 cm)
  • 1 Gravy Ladle – 8″ (20.2 cm)
  • 1 Meat Serving Fork – 8¼” (21 cm)
  • 2 Condiment Spoons – 5¾” (14.5 cm)
  • 2 Cold Cuts Forks – 6¾” (17.2 cm)
  • 1 Caddy Spoon – 4⅜” (11 cm)
  • 1 Bottle Opener – 5½” (14 cm)

Total weight: 4,028 g (142 oz), including stainless steel blades on dinner and fruit knives.

Total pieces: 94, all in excellent polished vintage condition, individually polished by a Georg Jensen-trained silversmith.

All complete silverware sets include brand-new anti-tarnish felt storage bags at no extra cost.
