Vintage Georg Jensen Compact 278AA by Sigvard Bernadotte

This is a sterling silver Georg Jensen compact, design #278AA by Sigvard Bernadotte from circa 1940. Classic Bernadotte design, simple, elegant and functional. A button on the front releases the main lid, a second button inside releases the powder lid. The mirror is whole and undamaged.

Dimensions: Measures 3 1/4″ in diameter and 3/8″ in height (8.2cm, 0.9cm).

Hallmarks: Vintage Georg Jensen hallmark from 1945-1977.
