A Vintage Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Centerpiece Bowl #779

A Large Vintage sterling silver Georg Jensen centerpiece bowl, design #779 by Johan Rohde from the 1930’s. The bowl is lifted on six classic “Rohde” scrolls, which themselves rest on a simple ring base. A similar piece sold for $28,000 at Christie’s 2005 Rowler sale.

Measures: 5″ in height and 14½” in diameter (13cm, 36cm).

Hallmarks: Vintage Georg Jensen hallmark from 1933-1944 and London import marks for 1937.
