Georg Jensen Bonbonniére 185 Ebony Finial

An antique 830 sterling silver Georg Jensen bonbonniere with ebony finial, design #185 by Georg Jensen from 1918. An oval handcrafted lidded box or bonbonniere with an enormous amount of detail. The hand hammered body with eight hand chased floral motifs. The oval lid with ebony finial is surrounded by a series of smaller hand chased floral motifs. The inside hosts the original silver screw. A rare find in excellent original vintage condition with minimal signs of use, considering its age.

• Hallmarks: Antique Georg Jensen hallmarks with year stamp from 1920, GJ 380s 185 and Swedish import marks.
