Vintage Georg Jensen Acorn Flat Server with Steel 206

Sterling silver and stainless steel Georg Jensen flat server, item #206 in the Acorn pattern, design #65 by Johan Rohde from 1915.

The handle is sterling silver and the serving part is stainless steel. Such a server with steel is suitable for hot items, the steel gives better heat insulation than silver. Also suitable for serving items that are not compatible with silver, such as eggs or acidic foods like tomatoes.

Dimensions: Measures 8″ (20.2cm) in length.

Hallmarks: With Georg Jensen hallmark, made in Denmark.
