Vintage F. Hingelberg Sauce Boat on Tray by Svend Weihrauch

Sterling silver sauce boat with ebonite handle and foot as well as a tray, designed by Svend Weihrauch for Frantz Hingelberg of Aarhus, Denmark.
The sauce boat is 8″ (20cm) long, fantastic design and handcraftsmanship. Note the ebonite insert under the foot, for heat insulation, a wonderfully functional detail.
Dimensions: The tray is 11 1/2″ x 7 1/8″ (29cm x 18cm).
Hallmarks: Both pieces with hallmarks for F. Hingelberg, the tray is date marked “Anno 1940”.

All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
