Vintage Evald Nielsen Silver Vase From 1924

A vintage silver Danish vase, designed and produced  by Evald Nielsen of Copenhagen. This hand-hammered vase has a trumpet form, plain hammered surface on the top half, a middle floral ring above a series of vertical lines ending in a ring of beads above the raised foot. Evald Nielsen was a contemporary of Georg Jensen, and had his own bombastic interpretation of the Art Nouveau style.

• Dimensions: Measures 8 1/4″ in height, diameter at top 5 1/8″ (21cm, 13cm). Weighs 12.17oz (345g).
• Hallmarks: Marked with “Evald Nielsen” signature and with Danish assay marks (Three Towers & Guardein) for 1924, probably 830s.
• Volume: Holds circa 30 fl.oz (900ml).
