Vintage Evald Nielsen No.6 Silverware Service

An extensive silverware service for twelve persons, designed and produced by Copenhagen silversmith Evald Nielsen, this pattern is No. 6. Evald Nielsen was a contemporary of Georg Jensen and is known for his own bombastic interpretation of the Art Nouveau style, in this case the motif is floral with berries. The individual pieces in this service are large in size and substantial in the hand. This set is in excellent condition and comes from a Danish estate where it was well taken care of. This set comprises 12 settings of 10 pieces plus many serving pieces, 143 pieces in total.
