Vintage Evald Nielsen No.16 Silverware Service
A silverware service for twelve persons, designed and produced by Copenhagen silversmith Evald Nielsen, this pattern is No. 16. Evald Nielsen was a contemporary of Georg Jensen and is known for his own bombastic interpretation of the Art Nouveau style, in this case the motif is floral. The individual pieces in this service are large in size and substantial in the hand. This set is in excellent condition and comes from a Danish estate where it was well taken care of. This set comprises 12 settings of 8 pieces plus many serving pieces, 107 pieces in total.
