Vintage Evald Nielsen 14kt Gold Necklace

A vintage 14kt gold Art Nouveau necklace set with cultured pearls by Copenhagen silver and goldsmith Evald Nielsen. Evald Nielsen was a contemporary of Georg Jensen, he was active in Copenhagen from 1905-1958, Nielsen had his own bold interpretation of the Art Nouveau style. Evald Nielsen was a highly respected artist in his time and was for many years the head of Goldsmith’s guild.

Dimensions: Measures 15 1/2″ (39.5cm) in length. Weighs ca. 1.13oz (32g).

Hallmarks: Hallmarked “EN 585” (585 stands for 14kt gold).
