Vintage A. Michelsen and Royal Copenhagen Vase

This is a unique Royal Copenhagen vase mounted in sterling silver by A. Michelsen.
The vase has a beautiful mottled blue colour, the silver mounting depicts a flying insect on each side and two stylistic leafy trees.
Measures 7″ in height x 6″ x 3 3/4″ (17.5cm x 15cm x 9cm).
Hallmark “A. Michelsen” topped by a crown, A. Michelsen were purveyors to the Royal Danish Court, and Three Towers hallmark for 1922.
The vase is marked underneath with the three waves and an unknown painters monogram.
