Vintage 14kt Gold Bracelet Snake Motiv

An early 14kt gold snake bracelet, the finely hand-chased snake’s head set with green stone eyes and detailed teeth. The hinged mouth opens to receive the clasp, creating an ingenious and decorative locking mechanism.

The flexible body is intricately woven from interlaced gold links to resemble the texture and scales of snakeskin. The clasp is operated by a push-down lever to release and open the bracelet. An additional safety chain connects the two sides of the bracelet, providing extra security when worn.

The bracelet bears a hand-engraved date of May 25, 1945.
