Rare Vintage Georg Jensen Tea Service 353 by Johan Rohde

This is a pre-war Georg Jensen sterling silver tea and coffee service on tray with hand carved ebony handles and finials, design #353 by Johan Rohde from circa 1928, late in Rohde’s carrier.

This set includes:

  • Coffee pot with ebony handle and finial #353A, the lid is hinged at the back. Measures 9 1/4″ (23.5cm) in height
  • Teapot with ebony handle and finial #353B, the lid is hinged at the back. Measures 6 7/8″ (17.3cm)
  • Cream jug with ebony handle #353B. Measures 4 3/4″ (12cm) in height.
  • Sugar bowl and cover with ebony finial #353C. Measures 4½” (11.5cm) in height.
  • Tray #353B. Measures 18 1/4″ x 12 1/4″ (46cm x 31cm).

Hallmarks: The tray has vintage Georg Jensen hallmarks from 1925-1932, the other pieces all have hallmarks from 1933-1944.

All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
