Rare Georg Jensen Vase With Amber Stones 123

A rare Georg Jensen Art Nouveau vase with four amber stones. Each stone is mounted and surrounded by a series of beads. There is a hand chased design around each stone. The vase is a typical trumpet form, with a round base foot. There is a bulb formed section between the foot and the base which gives the vase an Art Nouveau look. The foot has a great deal of hand chased lines, all applied by hand. Overall the vase has a feel of superior handcraftsmanship, a piece that would have been made by a seasoned silversmith.

• Dimensions: Measures 6″ in height and 4 1/4″ in diameter at the top (15cm, 10cm).
• Hallmarks: Vintage Georg Jensen hallmark from 1925-1932, “Sterling Denmark 123”.
