Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Art Deco Cookie Jar 796

A rare and early vintage sterling silver Georg Jensen Art Deco cookie jar, design #796 by Jorgen Jensen from circa 1936. The body is a cylinder form punctuated with horizontal lines, likewise the lid and finial feature horizontal lines. The piece stands on three feet, with a “Z” shaped profile.

Dimensions: Measures 8 5/8″ in height and has a diameter of 6 1/4″ (21.9, 15.9cm). Weighs 52oz (1,474g).

Hallmarks: Vintage Georg Jensen hallmarks from 1933-1944.
