Rare Georg Jensen Sterling Bittersweet Silverware Service

A sought after Georg Jensen sterling silver cutlery service in the Bittersweet pattern, called in Danish “Pinje”, designed by Gundorph Albertus in 1940.

The service is:

  • 12 dinner knives 9″ (22.8cm)
  • 12 dinner forks 7 3/8″ (18.7cm)
  • 9 oval soup spoons 6 5/8″ (16.9cm)
  • 12 salad forks 6 3/8″ (16.2cm)
  • 12 extra large teaspoons can also be used for dessert 5 7/8″ (14.9cm)
  • 12 butter spreaders 6″ (15.2cm)

Serving pieces; 1 large cake knife 10 1/4″ (25.8cm), 1 sauce ladle 5 7/8″ (14.7 cm), 2 salt spoons 3 1/2″ (8.9cm). 73 pieces total.

All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
