Rare Georg Jensen Lidded Tureen 792A

A rare Georg Jensen sterling silver Art Deco lidded tureen #792A, designed by Harald Nielsen in 1936. A round shaped bowl on a geometric foot, the lid with a finial of simple floral and ball design. The handles are also made up of two leaves and a single ball. Harald Nielsen designed this piece one year after the death of his brother-in-law Georg Jensen. We would consider this a collectors piece, as very few were ever produced.

Measurements: Height 10” x Diameter: 14” (25cm x 35cm). Weight: 70.2oz (1,990g).
