Rare Georg Jensen Lidded Bonbonniére 248 by Johan Rohde

Very rare 830 silver Georg Jensen lidded bonbonniére #248 designed by Johan Rohde circa 1917. Normally Rohde’s designs tended to be less ornamental, one could wonder if this design was a collaboration with Georg Jensen?

Dimensions: Measures 6 1/2″ in height and 5″ in diameter (16.2cm, 12.5cm). Weighs 13.5oz (385g).

Hallmarks: Georg Jensen hallmarks from 1915-1927, 830s, the earliest possible hallmarks for this design.
