Rare Georg Jensen Coffee and Tea Service with Burner and Tray 483

Georg Jensen tea service with oak handles designed by Georg Jensen circa 1927, design #483, a late design by Georg Jensen with signs of Art Deco. This set includes a coffee pot with burner (extremely rare) 10″ (height 25.5cm), a teapot pot 5 3/8″ (height 13.3cm), a creamer or milk jug 4 5/8″ (height 11.7cm), a lidded sugar bowl 4 1/4″ (height 10.8cm) and a rimmed tray 13½” (diameter 34.5cm), total weight including handles ca. 127oz (3,600g). Special and very rare hallmarks for France, hallmarked “Argenterie d’Art de Georg Jensen, Denmark Sterling 483”. Note that normally the pot on burner is for tea but seeing how this was made for the French market the coffee pot was chosen. This is very unique and is quite possibly made for a special order.

All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
