Rare Georg Jensen Bittersweet Cheese Plane 222

Georg Jensen sterling silver and stainless steel (blade) cheese plane, item #222 in the Bittersweet pattern, flatware design #79 by Gundorph Albertus from 1940. Bittersweet is the sister pattern to Albertus’ better known Cactus pattern, because of the war Bittersweet had a very limited production run and is extremely rare.
Dimensions: Measures 8 1/4″ (20.7cm) in length.
Hallmarks: With Georg Jensen hallmark, made in Denmark.
