A rare Georg Jensen sterling silver Ornamental #39 Owl serving set with green agate eyes. This is the largest version and very sought after. This design is an example of how, when the chasing time exceeds the smithy time, the piece becomes a work of art. The detail on this set is the finest we have seen. A hand chased owl resting on three leaves and a intertwined branch handle. The middle shaft is a chased floral design with five beads. The spoon and fork are hand forged. This ornamental serving set is as good as it gets.
