Rare Georg Jensen #39 Owl Ornamental Serving Set With Green Agate Eyes

A rare Georg Jensen sterling silver Ornamental #39 Owl serving set with green agate eyes. This design is an example of how, when the chasing time exceeds the smithy time, the piece becomes a work of art. The detail on this set is the finest we have seen. A hand chased owl resting on three leaves and a intertwined branch handle. The middle shaft is a chased floral design with five beads. The spoon and fork are hand forged. This ornamental serving set is as good as it gets.
