Rare Frantz Hingelberg Sterling Silver and Glass Punch Bowl with Ladle

A rare and possibly unique extra-large punch bowl and ladle by Frantz Hingelberg, featuring sterling silver and ivory details, with design by Svend Weihrauch. The glass, though unmarked, is likely Orrefors of Sweden. The hand-blown glass is round in shape, with an Art Deco-style lid showcasing a wire-wrapped design. The ladle is hand-forged with a curved shape and an ivory handle. This exceptional piece dates back to 1941 and remains in excellent original condition.

Specifications:

  • Dimensions: The punch bowl stands 16″ in height, with an approximate diameter of 10 ½” (40.5 cm) and 26.5 cm.

  • The ladle measures 14 ¼” (36 cm) in length.

  • Hallmarks: Both the lid and ladle bear hallmarks for F. Hingelberg, with the lid date-marked 1941.

All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
