Rare A. Michelsen Cocktail Set by Kay Fisker

This is a sterling silver cocktail set by A. Michelsen including cocktail shaker, tray & five glasses, design by Kay Fisker from the 1920s. It is rare to see such a complete set, the glasses are designed by Kay Fisker for this set, we have never seen a set with the glasses before.

The cocktail shaker measures 9 1/4″ in height and 3 3/8″ in diameter (23.5cm, 9cm). The glasses are 2½” in height and 2½” in diameter (6.4cm, 6.5cm). The tray is 10 5/8″ in diameter and 3/4″ in height (27cm, 1.8cm).

Both pieces with hallmarks for A. Michelsen topped by a crown, denoting that Michelsen were purveyors to the Royal Danish Court. The tray is also date marked 1948.

All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
