Pair of Vintage Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Candlesticks 286
A pair of hammered sterling silver Georg Jensen candlesticks, design #286 by Johan Rohde from circa 1919. This design is extremely difficult to produce and therefore are not produced in great numbers. a column designed candlestick, consisting of a ten sided base that tiers into another 10 sectioned base. The candleholder has the same 10 sides throughout the shaft as well as numerous beads for design. A pair of these candleholders would take a considerable amount of time to create.
- Dimensions: Measure 9″ in height and 4 7/8″ across the base (23cm, 12.2cm). Total weight 44.86oz (1,272g).
Hallmarks: Vintage Georg Jensen hallmarks from 1945-1977 as well as JR for Johan Rohde.
All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
