Pair of Georg Jensen Pyramid Decanters with Tray

A rare Georg Jensen drinks set comprising of a pair of matching Georg Jensen Pyramid decanters with tray. The decanters and tray Pyramid pattern, designed by Harald Nielsen in 1930. The decanters of faceted cylindrical crystal. The stopper a sterling silver Pyramid design with glass stopper. The Pyramid tray tray is oval with raised sides and stepped handles. The Pyramid pattern was inspired by the euphoria over all things Egyptian following the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb in 1922, as interpreted through the Art Deco style of the time.

• Dimensions: Decanters; 10″ (25.5cm) in height. Tray; 11 5/8″ length x 7 3/8″ width (29.6cm x 18.7cm).
• Hallmarks: Decanters; 1945-1977 Georg Jensen hallmarks, “HN 206C Sterling Denmark”. Tray; 1945-1977 Georg Jensen hallmark, “HN Sterling Denmark 600K”. The tray weighs 19.68oz (558g).
