Norwegian Silver Cocktail Shaker by Oskar M. Sorensen

This is a post-war Norwegian silver cocktail shaker designed by Oskar M. Sorensen for J. Tostrup of Oslo, Norway.
The shaker is octagonal and tapers outwards, the lid is decorated with red transluscent enamel on a guilloche base, there is a removable silver strainer inside.
Measures 9 5/8″ in height and 3 5/8″ across at widest part (24.7cm, 9.2cm).
Hallmarks for J. Tostrup, 830s and date marked 1951.

All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
