Monumental Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Six-Light Candelabra 751
A pair of vintage monumental candelabra from Georg Jensen, model #751, designed by Harald Nielsen in 1935. These exquisite pieces feature an oversized disk-shaped raised base with a centered smaller disk. The six tubular arms showcase a meticulously hand-chased oxidized linear design. A central arm is surrounded by five others, each adorned with a small edge sconce at the top to securely hold the candles in place. The combination of their impressive size and elegant Art Deco design makes these candelabra highly coveted.
Notably, a pair with the same size and design fetched $114,000 at Christie’s 2005 Georg Jensen sale, underscoring their desirability. To our knowledge, there are fewer than 10 pairs of these candelabra in existence since their initial design.
