Modern Georg Jensen Teapot #1143

This is a modern sterling silver teapot with ebony handle and bakelite lid, design #1143 from 1966 by Soren Georg Jensen, one of Georg Jensen’s sons. The design is a simple cylinder form, a lineal feature around the middle being the only decorative element.

Dimensions: Measures 4 3/4″ in height and has a diameter of 4 3/4″ (12cm, 12cm).

Weight: 26.45oz (750g).

Volume: Easily holds 23.7 fl.oz. (700ml).

Hallmarks: Post 1944 Georg Jensen hallmark, indicating production between 1966-1977.
