Modern Georg Jensen Tea & Coffee Service 1143

A modern sterling silver tea and coffee service with ebony handles and bakelite lids, design #1143 from 1966 by Soren Georg Jensen, one of Georg Jensen’s sons. The design is a simple cylinder form, a lineal feature around the middle being the only decorative element. This set includes –

• Teapot: Measures 4 3/4″ in height and has a diameter of 4 3/4″ (12cm, 12cm), holds circa 23.7fl.oz (700ml)
• Coffee pot: Measures 7″ in height and 3 7/8″ in diameter (17.8cm x 10cm), holds circa 28.7fl.oz (850ml)
• Cream Jug: Measures 3 3/8″ in height and 2 5/8″ in diameter (8.5cm x 6.7cm)
• Sugar bowl: Measures 2 1/8″ in height and 3 3/4″ in diameter (5.3cm x 9.5cm).

Hallmarks: Post 1944 Georg Jensen hallmark, indicating production between 1966-1977.
