Large Vintage Georg Jensen Tea/Coffee Service on Tray 80

A Georg Jensen sterling silver tea and coffee service with ebony handles on matching tray, design #80 by Georg Jensen from circa 1915. Simple elegant design, the only decoration is a beaded edge under the finials and the hand-hammered surface of the silver. There were several sizes produced in this pattern, this is one of the larger sizes.

The set includes –

• #80B Coffee Pot, 7 5/8″ (19cm) in height, holds circa 30.4fl.oz (900ml).
• #80B Teapot, 5 3/4″ (14.5cm), holds circa 28.75fl.oz (850ml).
• #80C Cream Jug, 2 7/8″ (7.2cm)
• #80C Lidded Sugar Bowl, 3 1/4″ (9cm)
• #80B Oval Tray 16″ x 11 1/8″ (40.7cm x 28.7cm).

Total gross weight 80.4oz (2,280g).

Hallmarks: Vintage Georg Jensen hallmarks from 1945-1977.
