Large Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Four Piece Tea Service #159

This is a  large Georg Jensen sterling silver four-piece tea and coffee service, design#159 by Georg Jensen from circa 1912. An ornate Art Nouveau “Melon” design, the lids with acorn finials.Hand-carved handles of ebony wood.

• Measurements: Teapot: 10″ (25cm) wide including the handle x 6 1/2″ (16cm) tall. Coffee pot: 8 1/4″ (20.6 cm) tall. Creamer 5 1/2″ (13.5cm) tall. Sugar: 8″ (20cm) wide including the handles x 4″ (10cm) tall.
• Hallmarks: all four pieces with matching 1933-1944 Georg Jensen hallmarks.
• Weight: total gross weight 85oz (2,410g).
