Large Georg Jensen Art Deco Tray 529

A large and heavy Georg Jensen art deco sterling silver tray #529, designed by Johan Rohde in 1928. A circular edged tray with square handles each having a single bead as design. The large tray is ideal for a tea or coffee set or as a drinks tray. Trays are less common as only a master silversmith can create such a piece.

Dimensions: Inside diameter 14 7/8″ (28cm). The width including the handles is 17″ (43 cm)

Hallmarks: 1945-1977 vintage Georg Jensen hallmarks, sterling Denmark JR for Johan Rohde.

Weight: 1655 grams (58.37 oz.)
