Large Danish Tureen

This is a large 830 silver Art Nouveau lidded tureen from Denmark.
Measures 17″ in height, 19½” across the handles, diameter at widest part without handles 12½” (43cm, 50cm, 32cm).
The lid is hallmarked Carl M. Cohr from 1893-1937 and Three Towers hallmark for 1930, 830S.

The bowl has Three Towers hallmark for 1919 and mark “DA” for Landsforening Dansk Arbejde (National Federation Danish Work), a private organisation formed in 1908 to support and market Danish produced wares at home and abroad.

All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
