Georg Jensen Viking Sterling Silverware Set for 12

A Georg Jensen sterling silverware set in the rare Viking Pattern for twelve, Design #6, created by Georg Jensen in 1927. This hand-hammered pattern was a late design for the company, inspired by Viking and Nordic motifs. It is a substantial and high-quality pattern, with very few pieces produced—likely because each item required hand chasing. When originally sold, the Viking Pattern was priced the same as the Scroll Pattern, making it considerably more expensive than the more widely produced designs.

Specifications:

  • 12 Dinner Knives – 8 3/4″ (22.5 cm)

  • 12 Soup Spoons – 7 1/4″ (18.2 cm)

Weight: Total weight, including stainless steel blades on the dinner knives, is 2,759 grams (97.32 oz).
