Georg Jensen Viking Sterling Silver Serving Spoon 113

A Georg Jensen large sterling silver serving spoon #113, in the Viking Pattern, Design #6, created in 1927. This hand-hammered pattern was a late design for Georg Jensen, inspired by Viking and Nordic motifs. It is a substantial, high-quality piece, produced in very limited numbers—likely due to the labor-intensive hand chasing required for each item. When originally sold, the Viking Pattern was priced the same as the Scroll Pattern, making it significantly more expensive than the more commonly produced designs.
