Georg Jensen Trio of Sterling Silver “Louvre” Bowls

An ensemble of three Danish sterling silver bowls by Georg Jensen, design #180B, #19a and #19b. This renowned design was named the “Louvre series” after the Louvre Museum in Paris purchased this design in 1914 as a permanent piece for the museum’s collection, which gave global recognition to the Georg Jensen name.  The design features a charming, hammered texture, providing an elegant touch, while a stem adorned with hand-chased floral patterns supports it gracefully. Secured by a round turned base, effortlessly complements any décor style. A beloved design cherished for its timeless appeal; it is certain to seamlessly integrate into most living spaces.

• #19a the medium sized bowl measures 6 3/4″ in height and 7 7/8″ in diameter (17cm, 20cm). Weight 848 grams (29,91 oz.) Hallmarks: Vintage Georg Jensen hallmarks for 1945-1977.
