Georg Jensen Trio of Sterling Silver “Louvre” Bowls

An ensemble of three Danish sterling silver bowls by Georg Jensen, design #180B, #19a and #19b. This renowned design was named the “Louvre series” after the Louvre Museum in Paris purchased this design in 1914 as a permanent piece for the museum’s collection, which gave global recognition to the Georg Jensen name.  The design features a charming, hammered texture, providing an elegant touch, while a stem adorned with hand-chased floral patterns supports it gracefully.
