Georg Jensen Stoneware Pot with Sterling Silver Lid 907

An early Georg Jensen sterling silver–mounted stoneware marmalade jar with blue glaze.
The jar was crafted and marked by Saxbo, Denmark, and is fitted with its original sterling silver lid designed by Harald Nielsen (Design #907 for Georg Jensen). Also included is an ornamental Georg Jensen jam spoon (Design #21).

The stoneware pot is finished in a period blue glaze, while the Art Deco lid is topped with a bold ball finial, a curved branch, and hand-chased floral petals. The matching spoon, with its graceful curvature, completes this elegant set.
