Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Wine Coaster 209

An early silver Georg Jensen circular wine coaster, design #209 by Georg Jensen from 1916. An understated handcrafted design with a slight hammered surface, the side is slightly raised and has a pearled edge. This very early coaster is the wide version and can easily hold a magnum bottle.

• Dimensions:  Measures 5 3/4″ (14,5cm) in diameter. The side is raised 3/4″ (1,9 cm).
• Weight: 119 grams (4,19 oz.)
• Hallmarks: Very early 1920 date stamp as well as GI 830s and import hallmarks to Sweden
