Large Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Vase 259

A large antique very important early and large Georg Jensen 830 sterling silver vase, design #259 by Georg Jensen in 1919. This vase has a large diameter and holds a bouquet of flowers. What also makes this vase a collectable item is this is presumably the first or one of the first made in the design, as the hallmarks are from 1915-1919. The round base with a three steep base attached to a hand hammered fluted vase. There is a large beaded edge design at the base which is hand crafted each bead at a time verses a ring that is casted then applied.

• Hallmarks: 1915-1919 Georg Jensen hallmarks as well as import hallmarks to Sweden.
