Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Vase 1300

An early modern sterling silver Georg Jensen vase, design no. 1300 by Verner Panton (1926–1998). Unlike later versions produced outside Denmark, this vase was handcrafted at Georg Jensen in Denmark in 1988. Remarkably, the piece shows no signs of use and remains in pristine condition.

The striking design features an elliptical base that rises to a smaller, opposing opening at the top—an ingenious and highly sculptural form. The concept centers on reflection, using the silver surface to disperse artificial light and create a natural, ambient glow within a home setting.
