Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Tray No. 519A by Oscar Gundlach-Pedersen

A vintage hand-hammered sterling silver tray by Georg Jensen, design no. 519A by Oscar Gundlach-Pedersen, originally introduced circa 1927. This example represents the larger of the sizes produced in this elegant and enduring design.

The tray features a round, scalloped form with finely hand-chased segments that emphasize its rhythmic Art Deco styling. An applied rim defines the outer edge, which is gently raised to allow for secure and comfortable lifting. The hand-hammered surface reflects Jensen’s commitment to craftsmanship and sculptural simplicity.
