Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Toast Rack 503

An early Georg Jensen sterling silver toast rack or letter holder, designed by Harald Nielsen in 1926. It features a seven-column structure, with the two end columns adorned with pairs of branches, leaves, and silver bead accents. This piece captures the transitional style between Art Nouveau and Art Deco, incorporating elements from both periods. The central column includes a tall handle, mirroring the decorative motif on the end columns. The base is slightly elevated with four stepped feet.
